Lake Champlain is also known as being one of the worlds top Small Mouth Bass fisheries. Local guides ensure success along the waters of Lake Champlain. Land Locked Salmon, Lake Trout, Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye are all sought after species on Lake Champlain. There are plenty of fishing opportunities within the city limits, from the Burlington Fishing Pier to the Salmon Hole, excellent angling opportunities await you in the Green Mountain State.

The fishing season for many is year-round, taking advantage of all fishing opportunities allowed on the lake, from trolling in the early season and mid-summer, to fly fishing for all the species Vermont has to offer. Ice Fishing is a popular wintertime activity, although Lake Champlain is the most productive lake for Ice Fishing, other inland lakes can be accessed easily and provide a great recreational opportunity for anglers of all ages.
