The Spring in Vermont can be a great time to get outside after a long winter. Historically, Memorial Day Weekend is a great way to kick off Spring and Summer in Burlington. As outdoor dining becomes an option throughout town, and entertainment is easy to find.
Starting with the Vermont City Marathon, one of Burlington’s most prized events. Thousands of runners gather together atop of Battery Park to start the 26.2-mile journey through the streets of Burlington. Accompanied by the thousands of spectators edging the streets, cheering on their favorite runners. The VCM Is followed by the Discover Jazz Music Festival, a city-wide event bringing locals and spectators together over the joy of Jazz. Musicians from all over tap their feet on the stages of the city, as the enjoyment is spread far and wide.

Bundle up, and enjoy the beauty of a snow capped city as the festivities are just beginning. From Penguin Plunges into the freezing waters of Lake Champlain, to downtown Ice Bars uniting the community in nights of celebration.
Through the dog days of summer, much time is often spent by the beautiful lakes and rivers trying to stay cool. However, as the sun goes down the evening events begin their festivities. From weekly Vineyard Concert Series set along the quaint hillsides of the Lake Champlain Islands, to downtown Brewers Festivals on the Burlington Waterfront.
The fall is a beautiful time to be exploring the Green Mountain State. Autumn is a true vibe, as the trees slowly begin their fiery transformation, illuminating the hillsides and creating the picturesque Vermont backdrop. The fun is just starting to begin.
